A specimen of transparent quartz in the faden variety. It forms a spatial, elaborate cluster of intergrown crystals. A very distinct, milky-white growth zone runs through the main, most massive crystal, recording the fracturing and healing of the mineral in an active tectonic environment. The crystals are characterized by a strong, vitreous luster and high transparency. Main Features: faden variety; very distinct, milky-white "thread"; high transparency and vitreous luster; local iridescence. Condition: Good plus. The main display area and the "thread" itself are perfectly preserved and legible.
