This specimen is iron quartz from the Zaragoza region in Spanish Aragon, distinguished by its deep, reddish-brown hue resulting from the presence of hematite inclusions. A prominent crown of small crystals with smooth and shiny faces rests on a tapering pedestal of the same mineral. The whole forms a compact, mushroom-shaped composition with balanced proportions. Main features: reddish-brown color from hematite inclusions; spherical cluster of sharply pointed crystals; strong luster of the faces; specimen from the Zaragoza location in Aragon (Spain).
