This ruby in marble is a distinct, purplish-red crystal set on the edge of a light-colored, marble matrix. The pinkish-red color of the ruby sharply contrasts with the white-gray matrix, which well reflects the characteristics of specimens from the Jegdalek deposit in the Surobi District. Main features: saturated, purplish-red color of the ruby; high contrast of the crystal with the white matrix; exposure on the edge of the matrix. Condition: Very good.
