Vanadinite from the Moroccan region of Taouz presents itself in the form of distinct, hexagonal plates with a deep, reddish-brown color. The crystals feature smooth faces and an intense resinous luster, exhibiting translucency at the edges. The base of the specimen rests on a modest fragment of dark matrix, from which smaller crystals grow closely upon one another. Main features: saturated reddish-brown color; thick plate-like crystal form; strong resinous luster; small dark matrix. Condition: Very good.
