The classic aragonite from the Spanish location Los Cerrillos presents a form of intergrown polygonal columns with red-brown and purplish coloration. The main crystal features a matte, flat apex surface and translucent side walls that reveal depth of color under light. A smaller, side crystal grows from the side wall of the dominant crystal, similarly ending in a matte finish. Main features: red-brown and purple color with a translucent interior; growth of two columnar crystals; specimen on an acrylic base, twinning. Condition: Good.
