The main part of the specimen is a dense cluster of pink rhodochrosite crystals with a characteristic rhombohedral habit. These crystals directly border a druse of colorless, sharply formed quartz, and the whole is complemented by small grains of pyrite set on a dark matrix. Main Features: pink rhodochrosite crystals; association with colorless quartz; small inclusions of golden pyrite; striking color contrast. Condition: very good. The rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals are complete, with well-preserved edges and a nice, saturated color.
