Pyromorphite from the Daoping Mine in China is characterized by a vivid olive-green color transitioning to yellowish hues. The main part of the specimen is densely covered with hexagonal crystals that have a slightly bulbous shape and shiny, glassy surfaces. In the background and at the edges, a brown, iron-rich matrix is visible. Main features: dense coverage of olive-green crystals; distinct glassy-waxy luster; brown, iron-rich matrix. Condition: Very good.
