On a light matrix composed of pale pink, layered crystals of barite, striking dark crystals of chalcopyrite are set. The surface of the copper sulfide exhibits multicolored iridescence with a dominance of shades of purple, magenta, and gold. The arrangement of chalcopyrite crystals along the edges and in the depressions of the light barite matrix creates a clear structure with excellent contrast. Main features: color contrast between light barite and metallic chalcopyrite; visible colorful iridescence on chalcopyrite crystals; specimen from a recognized German locality. Condition: Good.
