The specimen consists of numerous dark green epidote crystals, with a central cluster of several crystals at the upper part of the specimen and many milky quartz crystals. Quartz grows directly on a matrix composed of finer epidote crystals, forming druses. The largest quartz crystals are translucent, while the smaller ones are rather milky.
