Presented is a dark red rutile crystal from Madagascar, originating from the Vohitsara area in the Ambatofinandrahana location. It exhibits the form of a single, elongated prism with a very good, resinous luster. In intense lighting, the deep, almost black color reveals red translucencies visible along the entire length of the specimen. The side walls have elongated growth structures of the crystal. Main features: cherry-black color with red reflections; resinous-fat luster; no matrix, location Madagascar. Condition: Good.
