The dark red rutile crystal from Madagascar originates from the vicinity of Vohitsara in the Ambatofinandrahana region. The specimen is distinguished by a very dark, deep cherry color that is translucent at the edges under stronger light, as well as a very good resinous-lustrous sheen. A smaller, adjacent crystal has formed on the wall of the main crystal. Main features: dark cherry-red color; strong resinous-lustrous sheen; presence of a smaller crystal adhering to the side wall; location Madagascar. Condition: Very good.
