This specimen representing azurite and malachite comes from the famous Milpillas Mine in the state of Sonora, Mexico. The dominant dark blue azurite crystal emerges from a finely crystalline matrix, showcasing smooth walls with a high, glassy luster that reveals a deep sapphire color under stronger lighting. In the depressions of the substrate and along the edges, vivid green malachite clusters are clearly visible, connected at the bottom with brown coatings of iron oxides. Main features: Distinct color contrast between the blue of azurite and the green of malachite; glassy luster of the crystal walls. Condition: Very good.
