The presented adamite originates from the Ojuela Mine in Mapimí, Mexico, occurring in the form of densely clustered, small crystals with a deep emerald green and sea blue color. These crystals cover the depressions and cracks in the porous, brown-orange limonite rock, creating a distinct color contrast. The exceptional color of the crystals is due to the increased copper content in the crystal structure. Main features: intense sea green color of the crystals; strong luster of the crystals; contrasting limonite matrix in ochre shades. Condition: Good.
